Key Responsibilities:
- Responsibility
- Supporting Activities
- Testing
- Responsible for the creation of test cases using own in-depth technical analysis of both functional and non-functional specifications such as reliability, efficiency, usability, maintainability and portability).
- Creates traceability records, from test cases back to requirements.
- Produces test scripts, materials and regression test packs to test new and amended software or services.
- Specifies requirements for environment, data, resources and tools. Interprets, executes and documents complex test scripts using agreed methods and standards.
- Records and analyses actions and results, and maintains a defect register.
- Reviews test results and modifies tests if necessary.
- Provides reports on progress, anomalies, risks and issues associated with the overall project.
- Reports on system quality and collects metrics on test cases.
- Provides specialist advice to support others.
- Quality Assurance
- Conducts formal audits or reviews to investigates the conduct of processes to ensure compliance with organizational standards for activities, processes, data, products or services.
- For projects, development or support activities; plans, organizes and conducts audits and determines whether appropriate quality control has been applied.
- Collates, collects and examines records, analyses the evidence and drafts all or part of formal compliance reports.
- Determines the risks associated with findings and non-compliances and proposes corrective actions
- Relationship Management
- Implements stakeholder engagement / communications plan.
- Deals with problems and issues, managing resolutions, corrective actions, lessons learned and the collection and dissemination of relevant information.
- Collects and uses feedback from customers and stakeholders to help measure effectiveness of stakeholder management.
- Helps develop and enhance customer and stakeholder relationships.
- Understands and collaborates on the analysis of user/customer needs and represents this in their work. − Influences customers, suppliers and partners at account level.
- Engages across all stakeholders to ensure that user needs are being met throughout − Provides informed feedback to assess and promote understanding.
- Methods and Tools
- Provides advice and guidance to support adoption of methods and tools and adherence to policies and standards.
- Tailors processes in line with agreed standards and evaluation of methods and tools. − Reviews and improves usage and application of methods and tools.

- Initiates and monitors actions to investigate and resolve problems in systems, processes and services.
- Determines problem fixes/remedies.
- Assists with the implementation of agreed remedies and preventative measures.

- Communicates fluently, orally and in writing, and can present complex information to both technical and nontechnical

- Experience, Education, and Certifications:
- Proven experience managing and leading mentoring colleagues.
- Proven line management and leadership management
- Experience using tools to communicate progress to Stakeholders.
- Experience of regulated environments (GxP, Financial, etc...) or relevant testing experience from another domain that is transferable
- Understanding of Agile methodologies (preferably Scrum), UML, Object Orientated, Data
- Modeling, Process Modeling and/or other development methodologies
- Experience of working in and knowledge of the life sciences sector
- Solid Professional experience in the same or very similar role
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline (Maths, Science, Engineering, Computing, etc.) or a related study, or equivalent project-related experience
- English: Fluent
