Senior Software Technical Leader

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Integrate ASW, BSW, and MCAL software components and create software builds for electrification products.
• Plan software integration and testing with component owners and the software project manager.
• Deliver complete software releases and documentation.
• Specify and execute software integration tests.
• Mentor engineers and solve platform integration problems.
• Maintain software architecture and requirements-to-test traceability.
• Shape CI/CD capabilities and automated testing.
• Configure AUTOSAR system compositions and optimize multicore software architecture.
• Lead enhancements to controls, module, and component architectures.
• Collaborate with customers and engineering teams to define software architectures and solutions.

Cybersecurity Responsibilities

• Develop and manage cybersecurity requirements and standards.
• Define and deliver cybersecurity solutions and services for OEM customers.
• Implement security requirements for controllers and vehicle systems.
• Coordinate embedded software requirements, testing, documentation, and delivery schedules.
• Follow automotive software design, code, and test processes and standards.
• Participate in ECU design reviews with engineering groups, suppliers, and customers.

Core Qualifications

• 9 to 12 years of experience, including 5 or more years in automotive BSW development and 3 or more years as an AUTOSAR architect or integrator.
• A B.E., B.Tech, M.E., or M.Tech degree in Electronics, Communication, Electrical, Power Electronics, or Instrumentation.
• Strong AUTOSAR tool chain, Makefile, compiler, linker, and software build environment experience.
• Experience with JIRA, Polarion, BitBucket, GitLab, or similar configuration and change management tools.
• Strong build automation, CI/CD, and automated testing experience.
• Experience with AUTOSAR BSW, Bootloader, communication, diagnostics, memory, network management, OS, and MCAL components.
• Experience with multicore OS, SecOC, and OTA or FOTA solutions.
• Experience with a 32-bit Infineon TC3xx microcontroller.

Cybersecurity Qualifications

• Automotive cybersecurity software architecture and secure system design experience.
• Hands-on HSM experience including key management, cryptographic services, secure provisioning, and integration.
• Experience with Secure Boot, secure flashing or OTA, secure diagnostics, secure debug, IDS, SecOC, and secure tokens.
• Knowledge of ISO/SAE 21434, TARA, cybersecurity concepts, and lifecycle work products.
• Experience with UNECE UN R155 and UN R156, ASPICE, V-Model development, requirements engineering, verification, and validation.
• Experience with Vector DaVinci, EB tresos, and ETAS ISOLAR.

Additional Qualifications

• Experience with embedded C/C++ development in multicore and multithreaded environments.
• Experience with debugging tools, microcontroller architecture, hardware security features, and schematics.
• Experience with Agile automotive software development environments.
• Ability to guide design decisions and mentor engineers.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
