Responsible for delivering an enterprise class NetApp software product. Software Engineer thrives as part of a high-performance team tasked with finding creative solutions to the most profound data challenges customers face. Job Requirements

Back End Developer – VMware Virtualization and Cloud Technologies Job descriptions: Create detailed designs and implement major management components for NetApp JetStream’s Disaster Recovery control plane software. Detailed job duties include:
Work closely with back-end developer, front-end developer, and QA team to deliver world-class products on schedule.
Hands-on coding, both developing and extending RESTful APIs and writing client-side code which interacts with other APIs(RESTful and SDKs)
Designing/developing/maintaining backend software – includes enhancements, bug fixes and POCs.
Develop complex orchestration capabilities to configure and manage VMware vSphere entities, including VM, Host, Cluster, etc. for DR.
Design, develop and implement unit and scenario testing for existing code base and for new functionality under development.
Ensuring code quality, troubleshooting bugs, automatization, participating in and leading code reviews.
Minimum job requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
6+ years of experience in development with Java/J2EE software development and Web Technologies.
4+ years in developing management software for VMware vSphere Environment and Cloud technologies.
Experience developing Java RESTful Web Applications, Database, JPA and Hibernate frameworks.
Experience with Cloud storage like Amazon S3, Azure SDK and Google Cloud is preferred.
Proven track record of working in complex projects and delivering products on schedule.
Experience working with geographically distributed teams.
Excellent testing and debugging skills.
