Workplace and team
- The team is embedded with the Private Equity department and collaborates with PE Finance, PE Operations, deal teams, directors, and executives.
- The team uses Databricks, Azure, Power BI, enterprise Claude products, and an internally operated MCP server.
- The team is replacing manual processes with agentic workflows and internal applications built with AI-assisted development.
- The team supports analytics used across the organization and focuses on high-impact investment-related use cases.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver end-to-end full-stack business solutions, from production applications and AI agents to supporting data pipelines and analytical models.
- Partner with Private Equity teams to define problems and develop solutions, rather than simply taking specifications.
- Own work from initial stakeholder conversations through production release and beyond.
- Deliver complex work at a fast pace and with high quality, working with minimal direction.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least six years of related experience, including hands-on delivery of production applications.
- Build full-stack applications in Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript, including backend architecture, REST APIs, and front ends with good UI/UX.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Build agentic workflows and LLM-powered applications, including RAG, unstructured-data processing, MCP servers, and tool-calling architectures.
- Hands-on experience with Databricks and Azure; daily fluency with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude products or equivalents.
- Experience with transactional databases and analytical warehouses, data engineering, ETL/ELT, data modelling, and data architecture.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and infrastructure-as-code deployment.
- Experience implementing enterprise authentication and authorization, such as SSO, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, or role-based access control.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects end to end and communicate and plan work effectively.
