Senior Software Engineer- Support Engineer – Application Support- .NET

Overview

Job Purpose

• Own and evolve product/platform architecture to meet roadmap,SLOs, security, and cost targets; provide architecture governance

Responsibilities —Internal

• Define reference architecture, guardrails, golden paths; maintain C4/UML and ADRs
• Apply DDD, CQRS/Saga, and event‑driven patterns (Kafka) with polyglot persistence
• Drive container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes: ingress, HPA, rollout/rollback) and IaC (Terraform/Bicep)
• Embed security‑by‑design (STRIDE, secrets mgmt, zero‑trust) and observability (SLOs, error budgets, tracing/logging/metrics)
• Chair/participate in architecture review councils; ensure standards compliance and gated releases

Responsibilities —Customer And Market

• Maintain external market sense; align product choices to customer needs and roadmap
• Support strategic customer conversations on platform direction and extensibility

Functional And Technical Competencies

• Deep .NET or Java with adjacent stacks; Azure/AWS managed services
• Eventing & data: Kafka (partitions, consumer groups, retention), schema evolution, consistency models
• DevSecOps and production‑grade observability; performance/cost optimization

Soft Skills

• Stakeholder influence across product, security, platform, and delivery; clear decision facilitation.

Min Relevant Experience

• 12–18 years overall with 3–5 years leading product/platform architecture; shipped at scale.
