Senior Software Engineer, RippleX (Platform)

Role overview

What you’ll do

• Design resilient infrastructure for production XRPL services and public blockchain networks.
• Automate infrastructure lifecycle, CI/CD, and deployments using tools such as Terraform, Helm, and GitHub Actions.
• Build systems for observability, secrets management, disaster recovery, and regional failover.
• Improve reliability with instrumentation, alerting, and incident response alongside observability and security teams.
• Maintain internal tools, self-service workflows, and platform capabilities that support developer efficiency.
• Evaluate tools to improve scalability and reduce manual work.
• Influence technical direction and mentor engineers.

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 4 years of professional experience, including 2 or more years operating cloud-native infrastructure at scale; AWS or GCP preferred.
• Programming skills in Go, Python, or Java, with knowledge of Linux, networking, and concurrency.
• Experience with Kubernetes, container runtimes, and service meshes.
• Hands-on CI/CD pipeline and infrastructure deployment experience.
• Infrastructure as Code expertise and familiarity with distributed-systems monitoring and observability.
• Leadership, collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills; able to align technical work and mentor others.

Compensation

• For positions based in California, annual base salary is $172,000–$215,000 USD, excluding equity and additional compensation such as bonuses or commissions.
