The role

Responsibilities

• Design and develop highly available services and infrastructure across regions and multiple cloud environments.
• Build, maintain, and operate SaaS, BYOC, and on-premise offerings.
• Maintain infrastructure as code for Kubernetes resources across multiple clouds.
• Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and on-call rotations; collaborate on end-to-end customer experiences.
• Own product and feature lifecycles, including documentation and manual and automated testing.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience across software development, architecture, cloud technology, networking, and modern application design.
• Experience building large-scale, API-first production web services using Java.
• Production experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Helm, and infrastructure-as-code frameworks such as Terraform.
• Strong oral and written communication skills for explaining complex technical concepts to varied audiences.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Bonus qualifications

• Experience with Oracle Cloud, GovCloud, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with BYOC deployment models and a history of open-source contributions.

Compensation

• Listed compensation range is $155,000–$215,000; the posting does not specify a pay cadence.
• The role is also eligible to participate in the company equity plan.
