Build AI-native infrastructure for technology financing and agentic systems supporting credit risk operations.
Work across the stack with particular depth in backend services, APIs, data architecture, and financial workflows.
Help shape product architecture and engineering practices in a fast-moving startup environment.
What You'll Do
- Design production backend services, internal and external APIs, and data models for complex financial workflows.
- Take full-stack features from concept through architecture, frontend implementation, backend logic, and deployment.
- Build AI agent-powered workflows for underwriting, risk monitoring, collections, and payments.
- Use tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot in everyday development.
- Improve code review norms, architecture patterns, and AI integration practices.
- Participate in code reviews and collaborate with engineers, architects, designers, and product managers.
- Experiment while maintaining the quality of software released to production.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of professional TypeScript experience with React and Node.js.
- Backend strength in scalable APIs, databases, and system architecture.
- Experience building modular, full-stack applications from scratch.
- Experience operating applications in GCP or AWS.
- Hands-on fluency with Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot.
- Experience improving team practices and standards.
- Preferred experience includes tech or team leadership, especially as a founding or early engineer.
- FinTech, B2B SaaS, autonomous AI agents, and complex financial business logic experience are ideal but not required.
Compensation
- Base salary is $175,000 to $215,000 yearly depending on experience and background.
- The role also includes equity and benefits.
