Role Overview
Senior Software Engineer role supporting RVO Health's health technology platform.
The role requires adapting to work arrangements based on business needs.
Location and Work Arrangement
- Location is the Charlotte Metro Area, with office presence in Fort Mill, South Carolina.
- Hybrid schedule requires office work Tuesday through Thursday, with optional remote work Monday and Friday.
What You'll Do
- Lead end-to-end design, development, and implementation of sophisticated software applications and systems.
- Gather requirements with product managers, designers, and engineers and translate them into technical solutions.
- Write high-quality, efficient, maintainable, and scalable code.
- Resolve complex software defects and performance bottlenecks.
- Conduct unit, integration, and performance testing.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and conduct code reviews.
- Improve development processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Monitor emerging technologies and collaborate across functions to deliver projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of software development experience focused on user-facing applications.
- 3+ years of expert-level Next.js, React, and TypeScript experience, plus hands-on experience with languages such as Go and Python.
- Deep understanding of development methodologies and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Experience with software testing and AI-assisted code generation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Experience with healthcare regulations, compliance requirements, or Customer Data Platforms.
- Full-stack experience with Node.js, TypeScript, Postgres, REST APIs, or NoSQL.
- Experience with Kafka, Postgres, Dynamo, Nebula, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code.
Compensation and Benefits
- Starting salary range is $118,650 to $160,000, with actual pay based on geography, qualifications, and experience.
