The Senior Software Engineer works in the product and engineering team on systems powering electric car leasing.
The technology stack includes Python, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL databases, AWS, and a React and Next.js frontend.

What you will do
- Design and build robust APIs integrating internal and third-party services to optimize and automate core business processes.
- Architect and evolve performant, scalable backend systems and data models.
- Work across multiple data sources and design expressive, well-structured schemas.
- Contribute to frontend applications when needed.
- Maintain code quality and long-term maintainability.
- Contribute ideas, share knowledge, support colleagues, and mentor others.
What you will need
- Deep expertise in Python and strong software engineering fundamentals.
- Proven experience designing and building APIs, ideally with GraphQL.
- Comfort working with relational and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL.
- Experience applying software engineering principles to build robust, scalable, maintainable systems.
- Experience collaborating within teams and across disciplines.
- Experience using AI technology and tooling to augment development.
- Track record of owning features from inception through delivery.
Bonus experience
- Strong frontend experience with React, TypeScript, and Next.js.
- Experience with event-driven architecture or systems.
- Production experience with AI technology and tooling.
