Senior Software Engineer in Test, UI Platform

Role overview

Testing and quality engineering

• Design scalable UI test architecture and frameworks for multiple frontend teams.
• Maintain cross-browser and visual regression test suites.
• Establish automated and manual accessibility testing practices integrated into CI.
• Maintain localization and globalization coverage across locales, languages, and right-to-left layouts.
• Verify default configurations and behaviors across supported environments.
• Review requirements and design specifications to create test plans and strategies.

Collaboration and support

• Coordinate cross-team quality engineering efforts with engineering management.
• Document and communicate quality engineering architecture and plans for scrum teams.
• Respond to production alerts and customer issues during on-call rotation.
• Mentor SDETs, new hires, and interns, and influence quality standards across engineering.

Required qualifications

• At least 5 years of quality engineering experience with deep hands-on test automation expertise.
• Strong JavaScript or TypeScript proficiency and ability to write production-quality frontend code.
• Hands-on experience with modern UI testing technologies such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium WebDriver.
• Experience in cross-browser, visual regression, accessibility, and localization/globalization testing.
• Experience designing test architecture and frameworks from the ground up.
• Ability to set technical direction with minimal supervision and contribute at an architectural level.
• B.S. in Computer Science or a related field.
