Senior Software Engineer In Test - Kotlin

Role Overview

What You Will Do

• Enhance test automation frameworks for scalability, modularity, maintainability, and cross-platform compatibility.
• Develop reusable automation scripts for UI, API, database, and potentially mobile or desktop applications.
• Define automation strategy with QA leads and developers and integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines.
• Execute tests, analyze results, troubleshoot failures, and maintain test cases and pipelines.
• Collaborate across QA, development, DevOps, and product teams and mentor junior members.
• Write quality automation code, conduct code reviews, and follow version-control standards.
• Manage test data and environments, document tests, and update coverage in Jira, TestRail, or similar tools.

Experience and Expertise

• Hands-on experience in at least one of ReactJs, Next.js, .NET, Java, JavaScript, Python, or Kotlin.
• Hands-on experience testing or developing APIs.
• Experience building test frameworks and applications and working with Git.
• Experience with API automation testing, microservices, CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps or similar, and Docker or similar.
• Experience working in an Agile environment and independently driving assigned tasks.
• Experience with development tools, DevOps practices, cloud solutions such as Azure or AWS, Robot Framework, Selenium Grid, and reporting tools.
• Testing e-commerce order fulfillment with SAP Commerce and SAP ECC SD/MM is desired.
• A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
