Requirements
- Essential
- Strong hands-on experience with Go and a deep understanding of backend engineering best practices, including concurrency, performance or error handling
- Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and/or gRPC services in production
- Experience with AWS services and building cloud-native backend systems
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes or equivalent container orchestration platforms
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitHub Actions or similar tooling
- A sold understanding of testing strategies and TDD for backend services
- Good problem-solving skills and a structured, pragmatic approach to system design
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team, including with frontend and mobile engineers consuming your APIs
- Comfortable working with and maintaining services and codebases built by different teams
