Position Summary
The role designs, builds, tests, and deploys AI-powered applications using large language models and agentic tooling.
The engineer owns services end to end, including architecture, production coding, LLM and agentic API integration, data and retrieval pipelines, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
The position requires 6–8 years of professional software development experience and collaboration with engineering, product, and platform teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Build AI features using prompting, tool or function calling, retrieval-augmented generation, and orchestration.
- Write production backend and integration code in C# and .NET.
- Create unit, integration, and end-to-end tests and validate AI output quality before release.
- Deploy and operate applications through CI/CD pipelines and troubleshoot production issues.
- Connect applications to enterprise systems and data sources through APIs, MCP servers, and the iPaaS layer.
- Implement evaluation, guardrails, logging, and observability for safe and reliable AI features.
- Translate requirements into technical designs, participate in code reviews, and collaborate cross-functionally.
- Create technical documentation and runbooks for application support.
Required Qualifications
- 6–8 years of professional software development experience, including production application delivery.
- Strong C# and .NET proficiency and solid REST/JSON API design skills.
- Hands-on LLM application experience with prompting, function or tool calling, RAG, and orchestration.
- Experience with automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD, Docker, and cloud deployment and operations.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including schema design and efficient queries.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, Git, and observability or monitoring practices.
- Ability to solve ambiguous problems and produce tested, deployable solutions.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with MCP, LangChain, LangGraph, Azure AI Foundry, Claude platforms, vector databases, Kubernetes, or comparable technologies.
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Snowflake, Oracle EBS, or similar enterprise application landscapes.
- Experience in security, SaaS, or B2B technology sectors.
