Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Build features and products end to end with engineers across the company.
• Own problems across user experience, data models, scalability, operability, and ongoing metrics.
• Drive roadmap direction, architectural design, and mentorship.
• Work with Sales and Support to understand customer needs.
• Polish features and implement reliability and performance improvements.
• Maintain engineering standards across codebases, infrastructure, and processes.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience designing, developing, and deploying full-stack products.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Kotlin, Python, or another listed backend language.
• Experience with scalable, high-availability distributed systems.
• Experience optimizing SQL and/or NoSQL databases, including data modeling, query performance, and schema design.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL services.
• Experience with modern frontend technologies such as ES6+, React, TypeScript, and Webpack.

Bonus qualifications

• Cross-functional collaboration with product, design, and operations stakeholders.
• Experience driving initiatives across an organization or company.
• Experience running in-product experiments or A/B testing.
• Experience and interest in AI developer tools.

Workplace

• Hybrid role based in the Seattle office, with at least three coordinated office days per week: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
• Up to four weeks per year of fully remote work is available as a perk.

Compensation

• Expected salary range is $192,000–$240,000; starting base pay depends on candidate and market factors.
• Equity or other compensation may be included depending on the position offered.
