Overview

Senior Software Engineer / SME – Oracle OSM, OEP & OEM

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer / Subject Matter Expert with 8–10+ years of experience in Oracle Order and Service Management (OSM), Oracle Order Entry Point (OEP), and Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) within the telecommunications domain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, deploy, and maintain Oracle OSM 7.x/8.x cartridges and telecom order fulfilment workflows.
  • Manage end-to-end order lifecycle, including order capture, decomposition, orchestration, fulfilment, and completion.
  • Perform OSM installation, upgrades, configuration, and data migration activities.
  • Develop and enhance OEP middleware components, integrations, notification frameworks, and bulk order management solutions.
  • Build and maintain integrations with OSS/BSS platforms including UIM, ASAP, BRM, CRM, and external systems.
  • Develop automation plug-ins, XQuery transformations, SOAP services, and Java-based solutions.
  • Administer and optimise Oracle WebLogic environments, including installation, patching, tuning, and scaling.
  • Configure and manage Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) for monitoring system performance, health, incidents, and infrastructure.
  • Support CI/CD processes using Git, Jenkins, and Artifactory.
  • Troubleshoot order fallout issues and perform impact assessments and compatibility analysis.

Required Skills

  • Oracle OSM (7.x/8.x) cartridge development and administration.
  • Oracle OEP middleware development and integration.
  • Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) monitoring and administration.
  • Java/J2EE, Spring Framework, Apache Camel, XML technologies (XQuery, XPath, XML, SOAP).
  • Oracle WebLogic Server administration.
  • SQL, PL/SQL, Shell Scripting, Linux/Unix environments.
  • Ant build tool, Git, Jenkins, and Artifactory.
  • Telecom domain expertise including GSM, Voice, Data, Wireless, DSL, and VoIP services.

Preferred Experience

  • Oracle RODOD/RSDOD implementations.
  • OSS/BSS integration projects.
  • Telecom order management, provisioning, and fulfilment systems.
