Role overview

What you will do

• Collaborate with product teams to scope projects, reduce scope for faster customer feedback, and navigate integration and user experience tradeoffs.
• Deliver solutions through the cross-platform SDK.
• Optimize existing functionality for faster loading and more intelligent parsing by improving abstractions and algorithms.
• Ship cloud functions, lightweight backend services, and jobs using Kotlin.

Ideal candidate

• Systems thinking, including an understanding of end-to-end system design and the value of simplicity.
• Ability to work quickly, generate ideas and options, and decide what can ship now versus what needs more time.
• Ability to focus effectively in a busy, remote team environment.
• Ability to collaborate, inspire, and negotiate with opinionated designers, marketers, and product managers.

Preferred technology

• Kotlin Multiplatform is the preferred technology; Java experience is acceptable.
• Prior experience with GCP is a plus.
