A backend web framework (e.g. Micronaut, Spring)
Google Cloud or an equivalent cloud service provider (e.g. AWS, Azure)
HTML, CSS and TypeScript or JavaScript
React or an equivalent frontend technology (e.g. Angular)
Containerisation (e.g. Docker, Podman)
Automated testing (e.g. JUnit, Mockito, pytest)
Automated build and deployment pipelines
Version control in Git
Desirable
Java Reactive Streams
Asynchronous Python
PostgreSQL
Kubernetes, Helm, Flux, Terraform
Figma, Balsamiq
GitLab CI
Claude Code or an equivalent AI coding assistant
Experience with bioinformatics data processing pipelines
