We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer Backend Systems who can take ownership of backend services and contribute to high impact system design decisions. You will work closely with frontend engineers DevOps and product teams to deliver robust APIs and distributed systems that support real time applications and large scale data processing

Key Responsibilities

Backend Development
Design develop and maintain scalable backend services APIs and microservices

System Architecture
Contribute to the design of distributed systems ensuring performance scalability and reliability

Code Quality
Write clean maintainable and testable code following best practices and coding standards

Collaboration
Work closely with frontend engineers DevOps and product managers to deliver complete solutions

Performance Optimization
Identify bottlenecks and optimize system performance for high traffic applications

Mentorship
Support and guide junior and mid level engineers through code reviews and technical discussions

What We Are Looking For

Experience
5 to 8 years of experience in backend software development with exposure to scalable systems

Technical Skills
Strong experience in one or more languages such as Java Python or Node.js
Experience with RESTful APIs microservices and database design
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes is an advantage

Problem Solving
Strong analytical thinking with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems

Communication
Ability to clearly explain technical concepts to both technical and non technical stakeholders

Mindset
Practical and solution oriented with a focus on delivering reliable and scalable systems

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: QAR18,000.00 - QAR21,000.00 per month
