Your Experience:
- 4+ years of experience working on a SaaS product
- Experience with working on distributed systems, ideally in programming languages such as Golang, Python or Rust
- Experience working with Kubernetes and/or containerized services
- Intellectual curiosity about investigating issues that impact business metrics
- Passion for building high-quality products that are robust and easy to maintain in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Strong communication skills with a passion for mentoring peers, fostering a collaborative team culture, and executing efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience building developer platforms, compute platforms, ML platforms, or serverless/container execution environments.
- Experience working with frontend web frameworks like React.
- Prior experience mentoring engineers or leading technical projects.

Responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain the platform that powers internal and customer‐facing intelligent services on SingleStore
- Lead complex, cross-functional technical initiatives from conception to deployment, mentoring other engineers along the way
- Work closely with product managers, designers, customers, and other engineers to ensure we deliver a high-quality experience
- Drive the team's engineering standards, championing best practices in system design, code quality, testing, observability, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure we scale reliably.
- Share on-call responsibilities and proactively improve the reliability, security, and cost-efficiency of our cloud infrastructure.
