Senior Software Engineer

Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver AI-powered application features and services.
• Integrate LLM-based features, automation workflows, and intelligent user experiences into applications.
• Develop backend services, APIs, and application logic that interact with AI/ML systems.
• Partner with AI/ML engineers to integrate models into production-grade applications.
• Build scalable, reliable distributed systems with strong performance and availability.
• Implement observability, monitoring, and logging for AI-driven components.
• Participate in system design, architecture discussions, and code reviews.
• Improve performance, reliability, and developer productivity.
• Apply developments in LLMs, embeddings, and agent frameworks to product use cases.

Required Experience

• 5–10 years of software engineering experience building scalable applications.
• Strong Python proficiency plus at least one additional language: Java, Go, or C++.
• Experience with backend systems, APIs, microservices, and scalable REST or gRPC services.
• Experience integrating AI/ML capabilities into applications, including LLM or ML-service APIs.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, system design, containerization, and orchestration.
• Strong problem solving, Agile collaboration, adaptability, and interest in learning new technology.

Preferred Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent education and relevant professional experience is preferred.
• Preferred experience includes LLM applications, RAG systems, AI agents, vector databases, embeddings, LangChain or LangGraph.
• Knowledge of real-time data processing, event-driven architecture, and AI-application observability is preferred.

Location and Travel

• Hybrid role based in Mountain View, California or Atlanta, Georgia.
• No travel is expected.

Compensation

• Typical base salary range is USD 162,512 to USD 342,750 per year.
• The role may be eligible for a corporate bonus program.
• Compensation varies based on geography, experience, education, skill level, and other relevant factors.
