The company is seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer with approximately 10 or more years of hands-on development experience.
This is a hands-on individual contributor role focused on shipping high-quality software at scale using AI-native development practices.
Key responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain production backend and distributed systems.
- Own complex features from implementation through production deployment and resolve production issues.
- Use LLM-based coding tools, agent workflows, and MCP-style systems for coding, testing, debugging, and refactoring.
- Improve testing, CI/CD, developer efficiency, performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Collaborate with engineers and product teams, participate in code reviews, and provide technical feedback.
Required experience
- At least 10 years of hands-on software engineering experience.
- Deep experience building and maintaining production systems at scale.
- At least two years of recent hands-on use of AI coding assistants, agent workflows, and prompt-driven development.
- Strong track record shipping complex systems in fast-moving environments.
Technical skills
- Expert-level Java and Spring coding ability.
- Strong backend, API, distributed systems, and system design experience.
- Production AWS experience and strong PostgreSQL experience.
- Strong understanding of secure coding, OWASP, authentication, authorization, and data protection.
- Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, and production debugging.
Preferred experience
- Experience with financial systems, fintech, trading, payments, regulated financial environments, high-scale SaaS, or developer productivity tools.
- Experience training or experimenting with autonomous coding agents or AI workflows.
