Senior Software Engineer
Role Overview
This role provides a great deal of variety and opportunities through the full aircraft development lifecycle and support, with stakeholders across our business.
MaTE and related products such as the DTVR are delivered internally throughout Avionics and General Systems but are also delivered to external RAF/Export customers.
Post-delivery these facilities require back-office engineering support at Warton and infrequently off-site locations.
Core duties:
• Development, testing and release of aircraft software simulations and software testing tools
• Development, integration, test and release of MaTE related products, such as DTVR
• Development, integration, test and release of the MaTE Software
• 2nd line support – fault investigation resulting from complex MaTE / DTVR Users queries
• Review and analysis of suitable toolsets and methodologies
• Configuration and Version Control
• Managing budgets and schedules
