Role Overview
Own end-to-end mobile feature delivery across iOS and Android for applications serving small businesses.

Accountabilities
- Own the complete mobile development lifecycle for new features across iOS and Android.
- Develop and optimize cross-platform applications using React Native and modern JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Manage mobile CI/CD pipelines, automated builds, releases, and over-the-air update workflows.
- Manage app submissions and releases through the Apple App Store and Google Play.
- Implement monitoring, crash analytics, performance optimization, and production incident response.
- Contribute to architecture decisions covering state management, navigation, performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Mentor developers and improve testing, CI/CD, AI-assisted development, and other mobile engineering practices.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional mobile development experience delivering production-grade applications.
- Strong React Native and advanced JavaScript or TypeScript expertise for iOS and Android applications.
- Experience integrating mobile applications with RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
- Strong understanding of mobile deployment, release management, and app store submissions.
- Strong understanding of mobile architecture, performance optimization, testing, and maintainable practices.
- Experience working with Product, Design, and Backend Engineering teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AI-powered development or productivity tools is an advantage.
- Experience mentoring or coaching developers and communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders is preferred.
Compensation
- Competitive annual salary of CAD 130,000–160,000.
