Develop software products and next-generation hospitality applications used worldwide.
Help expand GuestTek’s AI security platform for the hospitality market.
The position is full-time and based in Calgary/Okotoks, Alberta.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain large-scale software applications for global hospitality customers.
- Design scalable technical solutions and expand architecture to address scalability issues.
- Design and implement new product features.
- Mentor junior developers, collaborate across teams, and resolve complex issues.
- Pursue professional development and acquire new skills.
Qualifications
- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
- 5+ years of software development experience.
- Experience with AI development tools, LLM implementation, testing, and automation.
- Experience or knowledge with Java, RESTful APIs, JSON, SQL data stores, efficient SQL, MQTT, and data modeling.
- Proficiency with JIRA, Git, and CI/CD management systems.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI orchestration frameworks.
- Knowledge of API integration, microservices, and cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Experience with vector databases, RAG architectures, and AI model evaluation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and automation design skills.
