About the role

Technical requirements

• Requires 7+ years of professional TypeScript, React, and Node.js experience.
• Requires deep Next.js knowledge, including app router, server actions, middleware, and routing patterns.
• Requires strong PostgreSQL or equivalent experience with schema design, migrations, indexing, and query optimization.
• Requires Prisma ORM proficiency, type-safe APIs using REST or tRPC, and TanStack Query proficiency.
• Requires knowledge of functional and declarative programming; state-management knowledge such as Zustand.
• Requires experience with monorepo tooling such as Turborepo or pnpm workspaces, authentication such as OAuth or JWT, and testing with Vitest or Jest.
• Requires knowledge of CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions.

What you will do

• Build and ship reliable full-stack features and break product requirements into technical tasks.
• Implement PostgreSQL schemas and migrations with Prisma; develop type-safe API endpoints and smooth application data flows.
• Work with event-driven workflows using Inngest where asynchronous processing is appropriate.
• Improve performance and troubleshoot caching, rendering, and other bottlenecks.
• Integrate services such as SendGrid, Novu, and third-party APIs; participate in code reviews.
• Document important decisions and patterns, refine CI/CD workflows, and support Vercel deployments.
• Collaborate with the product team to deliver practical technical solutions.

• Works autonomously with minimal supervision, owns tasks through completion, and proactively tackles unfamiliar problems.
• Can meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborates openly, gives and receives feedback, follows coding standards, and writes clean, maintainable, well-documented code.
• Takes responsibility for testing and quality assurance of their work.

Job type and pay

• Full-time role.
• Pay is AED 10,000–15,000 per month.
