Senior ServiceNow SecOps Technical Consultant

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Design and implement SIR, VR, Configuration Compliance, and Threat Intelligence modules.
• Develop customizations with JavaScript, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and Flow Designer.
• Integrate ServiceNow with SIEM, vulnerability scanners, and EDR tools.
• Configure playbooks, workflows, assignment rules, SLAs, and automated response actions.
• Maintain the CMDB for vulnerability and incident correlation.
• Build dashboards, Performance Analytics, and reports.
• Translate business needs into technical designs with Business Analysts.
• Support testing, deployment, upgrades, and post-go-live support.
• Follow platform best practices; mentor junior developers and document technical work.

Required qualifications

• At least 6 years of ServiceNow development or implementation experience.
• Hands-on ServiceNow SecOps implementation experience with SIR and/or VR.
• Strong JavaScript, Glide API, Business Rules, Script Includes, and Client Scripts skills.
• Experience with IntegrationHub, Flow Designer, REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, and security integration spokes or plugins.
• Good CMDB knowledge and understanding of incident response, vulnerability management, and threat intelligence.
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with SIEM, vulnerability scanners, and EDR tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.

Preferred qualifications

• ServiceNow CSA, CAD, CIS-SIR, or CIS-VR certifications are nice to have.
• Security+, CEH, or CISSP certifications are nice to have.
• Security Posture Control, Configuration Compliance, or Threat Intelligence experience is a plus.
• Banking, government, or other regulated-sector experience in the UAE/GCC is a plus.
