***About the Role***
We are looking for a Senior SEO Manager for E-Commerce, Technical SEO and Organic Growth in Dubai.
This is a hands-on SEO role for a German B2C e-commerce shop in a market where paid advertising is heavily restricted.
Because of this, organic traffic, technical SEO, Google rankings, website structure, tracking quality, website speed and shop performance are critical for growth.
This is not a paid ads role.
The main focus is SEO, organic traffic growth, Google Search Console, GA4, Google Tag Manager, crawling, indexing, Core Web Vitals, e-commerce SEO and measurable revenue impact from organic traffic.
You should be able to find SEO problems, explain them clearly, create action plans and work directly with developers, marketing and management to improve rankings, traffic and conversions.
***Your Main Tasks***
Technical SEO
Run regular technical SEO audits
Monitor crawling, indexation, redirects and crawl errors
Analyze Google Search Console data and fix SEO issues
Improve internal linking structures
Check canonicals, sitemaps, robots.txt and duplicate content
Support structured data implementation
Improve category, product and content page structures
Identify technical SEO weaknesses and create clear action plans
Work with developers to fix technical SEO problems
Monitor Core Web Vitals, page speed and loading performance
Detect suspicious indexation, spam pages or SEO related technical issues
***E-Commerce SEO***
Improve SEO visibility for product pages and category pages
Optimize product titles, category texts, metadata and internal linking
Find keyword opportunities for products, categories and content pages
Improve rankings for commercial keywords with buying intent
Analyze competitors and SERP movements in the German market
Improve product and category structures based on search demand
Support content planning for organic growth
Connect SEO work with traffic, conversion and revenue impact
***Organic Growth***
Build SEO action plans based on data, not assumptions
Track ranking development and organic traffic growth
Identify traffic drops, ranking drops and indexation problems quickly
Find new organic growth opportunities
Analyze landing page performance from organic traffic
Improve visibility for strategic keywords
Create clear weekly priorities for SEO improvements
Prepare reports with actions, not only numbers
Analytics, Tracking and Reporting
Use GA4, Google Tag Manager and Google Search Console daily
Monitor traffic sources, landing pages, funnels and conversions
Check tracking quality and identify data issues
Analyze revenue impact from organic traffic
Build or maintain SEO and performance dashboards
Use tools such as Looker Studio when useful
Report clearly to management with concrete next steps
Website Quality and Security Monitoring
Monitor unusual traffic changes
Check for spam pages, malicious injections and suspicious indexation
Review suspicious backlinks and possible negative SEO signals
Test checkout and payment flows regularly
Monitor page speed, Core Web Vitals and technical stability
Coordinate technical fixes with developers
Help keep the website clean, stable and reliable
Conversion and Shop Performance
Analyze product pages, category pages and landing pages
Identify UX and conversion weaknesses
Improve pages based on data and user behavior
Support A/B testing ideas where useful
Improve speed, usability and sales relevant page elements
Focus on measurable business impact from SEO and shop improvements
***Required Skills***
Strong experience in SEO and technical SEO
Strong experience with e-commerce SEO
Advanced knowledge of Google Search Console
Advanced knowledge of GA4 and Google Tag Manager
Experience
with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Sistrix or similar
Experience
with Screaming Frog or similar crawling tools
Good understanding of Core Web Vitals and page speed
Good understanding of indexation, redirects, canonicals, sitemaps and robots.txt
Good understanding of product pages, category pages and e-commerce structures
Ability to detect traffic, ranking and indexation problems quickly
Ability to create clear SEO action plans
Ability to explain technical SEO issues to developers and management
Structured, analytical and hands-on working style
***Nice to Have***
Experience
with Shopware
Experience
with German SEO projects
Experience
with restricted industries such as vaping, CBD or supplements
Experience
with hacked websites or spam injection cleanup
Basic understanding of servers, CDN and caching
Experience
with Looker Studio dashboards
Experience
with Hotjar or similar UX tools
Basic HTML, CSS or JavaScript understanding
Experience
working directly with developers
Experience
with multilingual or international SEO

Only create reports without clear actions
Only focus on backlinks and ignore technical SEO
Only focus on paid ads and do not understand SEO
Do not understand e-commerce conversion
Cannot work hands-on in SEO tools
Need an agency team for every implementation
Ignore tracking quality and data accuracy
Do not understand crawling, indexation or technical website structure
Cannot explain problems clearly to developers and management
Have no practical experience with Google Search Console
