Job Purpose

Senior Sales Executive will be responsible for driving new business growth and managing key client relationships for the company’s software and SaaS solutions.

This role identifies opportunities, delivers product presentations and demos, and closes deals.

The Senior Sales Executive plays a critical role in increasing revenue and supporting the Sales Manager by providing accurate forecasts and maintaining a strong sales pipeline.

Business Development & Lead Generation

Identify and qualify new sales opportunities through outreach, networking, events, and referrals.

· Build a strong pipeline of potential clients within target industries.

· Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competition, and industry trends.

Sales Presentations & Product Demonstrations

·

Deliver professional product demos and presentations (in-person and virtual) to showcase software capabilities.

· Understand client pain points and articulate how solutions address their challenges.

Client Relationship Management

·

Manage and grow relationships with existing clients to increase upselling and renewals.

· Act as the primary point of contact for client enquiries and provide timely follow-ups.

· Ensure high client satisfaction through effective communication and support coordination.

Proposal Development & Deal Closing

·

Prepare proposals, quotations, and sales contracts based on client requirements.

· Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and finalize agreements in coordination with the Sales Manager.

· Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Coordination With Internal Teams

·

Work closely with the technical/implementation team to ensure client requirements are properly communicated.

· Provide feedback from clients to the product and development teams to support enhancements.

Industry & Product Knowledge

· Stay updated on product features, software updates, and competitive offerings.

· Attend internal training programs to improve sales techniques and product understanding.

Education & Certification

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related field.

Experience

· Minimum 3–5 years experience in B2B software sales, SaaS solutions, tech platforms, or digital product

Other

· Strong understanding of SaaS-based products, cloud systems, and subscription models.

· Ability to explain software features, APIs, integrations, and technical workflows to clients in simple language.

· Familiarity with CRM tools, sales automation platforms, and cloud technologies.

· Basic knowledge of data security, hosting environments, and user access management.

· Ability to work closely with technical teams to translate customer needs into system requirement
