Role purpose
Follow up with current and prospective customers, meet their requirements professionally, and conduct profitable sales while managing risk and contributing to department targets.
Customer coverage and sales
- Regularly follow up assigned customers, develop new customers through opportunity searches, visit consulting and engineering offices, and follow up on inquiries.
- Study customer technical requirements, identify key needs, price offers using the pricing system or inventory price list, and prepare technical and commercial proposals.
- Deliver and follow up offers through deal conclusion; help customers obtain consultant approval when applicable.
- Assist with powerhouse design or modifications to supplier requirements when needed.
- Collect customer credit payments on time.
Coordination and delivery
- Coordinate offer content and pricing with the BDM and obtain approval; coordinate daily assignments with the Regional Sales In-Charge.
- Coordinate spare-parts needs with the spare-parts department and maintenance, start-up, testing, and commissioning requirements with the service department.
- Supervise equipment pre-delivery inspection, delivery, testing, commissioning, and final handover to the end user.
Market intelligence
- Monitor and report competitor sales, number of salespeople, promotional activity, inventory, and quality of after-sales service.
Qualifications
- Mechanical or electrical engineering education, or equivalent.
- Required experience: 4 to 6 years.
