  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of nine years of experience in Risk Management, Operations, Audit, Compliance, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience providing risk advisory support to business leaders and cross-functional teams in a highly regulated environment.
  • Experience leading complex initiatives and influencing stakeholders across multiple business functions.
  • Strong understanding of risk management frameworks, governance practices, regulatory expectations, and internal controls.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively engage audiences at all organizational levels.
  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships, drive consensus, and achieve results in a complex environment.
  • M&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay range for this position is $128,900.00 - $214,900.00 Annual (USD). The successful candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation.
