Senior Risk Executive - Emiratization

About the role

Risk assessment and monitoring

• Supports risk assessments and workshops, reviews risk registers and updates risk management dashboards and reports.
• Coordinates RCSAs with process owners and Risk Champions and reviews risks, controls, likelihood, impact, residual ratings and action plans.
• Validates KRIs against approved definitions, formulas, thresholds and evidence; follows up on discrepancies and escalates indicators exceeding risk appetite.
• Supports mitigation plans and follows up with Risk Champions and departments on action implementation.

Crisis, controls and communication

• Coordinates crisis management plans and post-crisis evaluations.
• Supports enterprise risk policy and process implementation and uses data analytics and risk tools to identify trends.
• Communicates risk information to stakeholders and senior management, prepares reports and provides employee risk-awareness training.
• Coordinates with Compliance and Internal Audit and shares updated risk registers.
• Prepares ICFR risk and control matrices and supports control testing, evidence review and recording test results.
• Works with finance, legal and operations to integrate risk management into business strategies and promote risk awareness.

Qualifications and capabilities

• Supports risk assessments, data collection, analysis, reporting and dashboard maintenance.
• Coordinates RCSAs and reviews risk and control assessments with process owners and Risk Champions.
• Validates KRIs against approved definitions, formulas, thresholds and supporting evidence and escalates out-of-appetite indicators.
• Prepares ICFR risk and control matrices and supports control design and operating-effectiveness testing.
• Communicates risk matters with stakeholders and senior management and stays informed about relevant regulations and standards.
