Role Summary

Senior Resident Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• **Project Leadership**
• Lead and oversee high‑rise residential & commercial building projects on behalf of the consultancy.
• **Site Management**
• Supervise all site activities and ensure execution aligns with approved drawings, specifications, contracts, and UAE regulations.
• **Independent Project Delivery**
• Manage projects end‑to‑end — from mobilization to final handover.
• **Stakeholder Coordination**
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, authorities, and internal design teams.
• **Progress & Quality Control**
• Monitor project progress, quality, safety, budgets, and schedules across multiple sites.
• **Technical Approvals**
• Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and inspection requests.
• **Issue Resolution**
• Lead site meetings, resolve technical issues, and ensure timely project milestones.
• **Team Leadership**
• Manage Resident Engineers, Site Engineers, and Inspection teams across multiple projects.
• **Reporting**
• Prepare technical reports and provide regular updates to senior management and clients.

Requirements

• **Education**
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• **Experience**
• 15–20 years total experience, including
• minimum 8 years as Resident Engineer
• within a consultancy.
• **High‑Rise Expertise**
• Proven track record managing high‑rise, multi‑storey building projects independently.
• **Multi‑Project Handling**
• Strong capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• **Portfolio**
• Extensive experience in residential & commercial developments.
• **UAE Knowledge**
• Strong understanding of UAE construction standards, contracts, authority regulations, and project management practices.
• **Leadership Skills**
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
