Responsibilities:
- In coordination with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and supervisor, spec out a Digital Twins with AI agents and GPS-denied navigation lab.
- Work with SMEs, supervisor, and vendors to design the lab layout.
- Work with SMEs, supervisor, contracting, finance, vendors, and others to acquire the equipment and supplies needed.
- Work with SMEs, supervisor, vendors, and others to install and check-out the needed equipment and supplies
- Work with the building managers and safety team to make sure this lab adheres to all the applicable safety and security measures
- Work independently to create status reports and briefs and financial execution updates.
- Become familiar with the operation of the lab to perform tests and measurements with the equipment acquired
- Be able to gather and process data for lab projects
- Maintain safety and lab records (e.g. training, equipment maintenance, inventory)
- Mentor students who work at the lab
- Design schedule for lab usage
- Performs related duties as required

- What We Need:
- Master’s degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Six years of related experience.
- Other Requirements:
- Able to handle Controlled Unclassified Information, proprietary Information, and eligible for a security clearance.
- In rare occasions, might have to work outside of normal working hours for deadlines
- What Is Helpful:
- MS or Ph.D. in aerospace, mechanical or electrical engineering are preferred but other engineering fields with relevant experience will be considered.
- Experience designing and activating aerospace facilities as well as knowledge of CAD programs like SolidWorks, Matlab, Python or a similar programming language.
- Strong oral and written communications skills are needed to prepare reports, status presentations, and interact with vendors and potential funding sources.
- Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Maintains attention to detail and utilizes sound judgment.
