We are looking for a Senior Research & Development Engineer (m/f/d) in Selb. What you will be doing: Develop and improve non-linear resistor products and related manufacturing processes. Drive technology development in the field of electronic ceramics, with a focus on ceramic thermistors and high-performance applications. Contribute to next-generation thermistor portfolio, from early-stage concepts through industrialization and release to production. Lead multidisciplinary R&D projects, ensuring clear objectives, robust technical validation, and timely execution. Collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Process Engineering, Purchasing, and other cross-functional teams. Work with external partners, research institutes, and suppliers to identify and implement innovative technical solutions. Apply quality management procedures in line with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 standards. What you will bring along: University degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, or another relevant technical discipline. Experience in product development, process engineering, manufacturing, or optimization of technical products; experience with electronic ceramics is a strong advantage. Knowledge of multilayer ceramic technologies, such as MLCC technology, is considered an asset. Experience with data analysis, statistical evaluation methods, and structured problem-solving approaches is desirable. Strong analytical mindset, technical curiosity, and the ability to translate complex challenges into practical solutions. Self-motivated, innovative, and eager to learn in a fast-moving technical environment. Collaborative team player with strong communication skills and the ability to work across functions and cultures. Professional fluency in German and English. Willingness to work in an international environment and travel when required.
