Role Description

The Senior Relationship Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai.

This role is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of clients, with a focus on acquiring new customers, deepening existing relationships, and promoting Monfi Digital Bank’s products and services.

Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting with clients to understand their financial needs, proposing appropriate digital banking solutions, and ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.

The Senior Relationship Manager will collaborate with product, credit, and operations teams to structure solutions, resolve issues, and ensure timely onboarding and service delivery.

The role also involves monitoring portfolio performance, preparing reports and presentations, supporting risk and compliance requirements, and representing the bank at client meetings, events, and industry engagements.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to build, manage, and grow client portfolios, including strong skills in client acquisition, relationship management, and retention.
  • Proven experience in banking or financial services, preferably within a digital or tech-enabled environment, with understanding of retail or SME banking products.
  • Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and presentation capabilities, with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales and revenue targets.
  • Solid knowledge of credit principles, risk management, and regulatory requirements relevant to banking in Malaysia or similar markets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
  • Comfort working with digital platforms, CRM tools, and data dashboards to manage pipelines, track performance, and identify growth opportunities.
  • Ability to work on-site in Greater Kuala Lumpur, manage time and priorities independently, and operate in a fast-paced, change-oriented environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; relevant professional certifications (e.g., credit, wealth management) are an advantage.
  • Prior experience in a senior relationship management, corporate banking, commercial banking, or affluent/priority banking role is highly beneficial.
  • Fluency in Russian
  • Past experience in banks
