We are hiring for our client, a leading organization, for a
senior-level broking leadership role
supporting the Chief Broking Officer in driving regional growth and market positioning.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced reinsurance professional to play a pivotal role in shaping broking strategy, strengthening global partnerships, and scaling business performance across key markets.
This role combines strategic leadership with strong technical depth, offering the chance to influence placement strategy, optimize portfolio performance, and lead high-impact initiatives within a dynamic and fast-evolving reinsurance environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and execution of regional broking strategies aligned with growth and financial objectives
- Drive new business development, client acquisition, and portfolio expansion
- Build and strengthen relationships with regional and global insurers, reinsurers, brokers, and cedants
- Lead the structuring, negotiation, and placement of proportional and non-proportional facultative reinsurance programs
- Support strategic reinsurer partnerships and capacity management initiatives
- Monitor portfolio performance, including premium growth, profitability, and placement efficiency
- Support business planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities
- Collaborate with underwriting, claims, finance, and compliance teams to ensure seamless execution and alignment
- Represent the organization at a senior level, enhancing market presence and credibility
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, Economics, or a related field (MBA or professional certifications preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in reinsurance broking with proven strategic and commercial leadership exposure
- Strong technical expertise in reinsurance structures and global market dynamics
- Demonstrated ability to design and place complex reinsurance programs
- Excellent relationship management skills with clients, reinsurers, and internal stakeholders
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to drive growth and profitability
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional collaboration and manage high-impact initiatives
- Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
