We're Hiring | Senior Refractory Consultant

Location : Abu Dhabi, UAE

• iFluids Engineering is looking for a highly experienced Refractory Inspector to join our team on a short-term contract basis with the possibility of extension.
• If you bring deep expertise in refractory lining systems for industrial and petrochemical plants — and hold a valid API-936 certification — we'd like to hear from you.
• What we're looking for:
• **Degree in Ceramic Technology**
• **Valid API-936 Certification (or equivalent from a recognized engineering bureau)**
• **Membership in a recognized Ceramic or Refractory Institute**
• **20+ years in refractory lining — spanning engineering, manufacturing, projects, construction, maintenance, and inspection**
• **10+ years as a consultant / third-party inspector with a reputed refractory engineering bureau**
• **Strong knowledge of monolithic and non-monolithic systems — castables, bricks, fiber modules, mortar, injection, and anchorage**
• **Familiarity with HSE standards for refractory, insulation, and scaffolding**
• **Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and relevant refractory design/inspection tools**
• **Strong command of English (reading, writing, and speaking)**
• **Physically fit for fieldwork — including scaffold access and equipment man-way entry**
