Senior - Quantity Surveyors Civil-Mechanical-Electrical

Core Responsibilities

Civil & Structural Works

• Measure and quantify earthworks, concrete, steel, structural glazing, and architectural finishes.
• Value infrastructure changes, sub-base materials, and heavy structural components.

Mechanical (HVAC, Piping, Plumbing)

• Re-measure and certify valuations for complex HVAC systems, pipework, and ducting.
• Review materials pricing, equipment escalation, and specialized equipment costs.

Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I)

• Manage bills of quantities (BOQ) for cabling, transformers, switchgears, and power distribution systems.
• Verify sub-contractor estimates for low-voltage (LV) and high-voltage (HV) installations.

General Key Accountabilities

• **Cost Estimating & Reporting:**
• Prepare budgets, cost-to-complete (CTC) projections, and cost-value reconciliations (CVR).
• **Procurement:**
• Handle tender evaluations, commercial analysis, and the placement of sub-contract orders.
• **Variation & Claims Management:**
• Identify site changes, price up variations, and prepare comprehensive contractual claims in accordance with regional building contracts.
• **Team Leadership:**
• Manage, mentor, and train junior and intermediate quantity surveyors within the team

& Requirements

• **Education:**
• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
• **Experience:**
• Typically 10 to 15+ years of demonstrable commercial experience in the construction or oil & gas sectors.
• **Regional Context:**
• For projects located in the Kingdom, deep familiarity with local infrastructure developments (such as NEOM, Riyadh Metro, or giga-projects) and GCC standard contracts is highly prioritized
