Role overview

Responsibilities

• Control project budgets, report costs, and support delivery within approved cost expectations.
• Oversee procurement documents, tendering, and contractor selection.
• Manage FIDIC contracts, variations, compliance, disputes, claims, and negotiations.
• Prepare cost estimates and advise on construction methods, resources, and schedule impacts.
• Maintain financial records and prepare reports for management and clients.
• Evaluate and negotiate changes, documenting budget and schedule impacts.
• Assess financial risks, recommend mitigation, and participate in value engineering.
• Maintain client, contractor, and consultant relationships; advise on cost and contractual matters.

Qualifications and experience

• Minimum 10 years of management experience in a cost consultancy environment.
• Extensive pre- and post-contract management experience, including large-scale mixed-use projects.
• A bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying is highly desirable.
• MRICS chartership or equivalent is highly desirable.
