The Project

This is an opportunity to work on one of the largest programmes in Saudi Arabia.

This unique project consists of major mixed-use development including sports facilities, entertainment and arts along with all associated infrastructure.

Mace is one of the delivery partners requiring high-calibre and experienced professionals to lead integrated teams throughout each phase of the project.

The Role

Mace is seeking a Senior Quality Manager to support the delivery of major district roads infrastructure works within are large area of the Programme.

The role will be responsible for leading and implementing the project quality management strategy, ensuring that all works are delivered in full compliance with contractual, statutory, and Mace quality standards.

This position will work closely with engineering, construction, commercial, and assurance teams, as well as contractors and stakeholders, to drive a strong quality culture across the programme.

You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Lead the development, implementation, and monitoring of the Project Quality Management Plan for district roads works within the Lower Plateau.
  • Ensure compliance with contract requirements, applicable standards, codes, and statutory regulations throughout design and construction phases.
  • Manage quality assurance and quality control activities across earthworks, pavements, structures, utilities, and associated infrastructure.
  • Oversee contractor quality systems, including review and approval of ITPs, method statements, inspection records, and test results.
  • Coordinate and lead quality audits, inspections, and surveillance activities, driving timely close out of non conformances.
  • Support design and construction teams in resolving quality issues and ensuring right first time delivery.
  • Provide quality leadership across interfaces with other districts, packages, and enabling works.
  • Prepare and present quality performance reports, dashboards, and risk assessments to programme and senior leadership teams.
  • Promote continuous improvement, lessons learned, and best practice across the district roads delivery teams.

You’ll Need To Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • Professional certification or training in Quality Management is advantageous.
  • Chartered or working toward professional accreditation is desirable.
  • Proven experience as a Quality Manager or Senior Quality Manager on large scale infrastructure or major roads projects.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001) and infrastructure QA/QC processes.
  • Experience working on complex, multi package programmes with multiple contractors and interfaces.
  • Solid understanding of highways, utilities, structures, and earthworks quality requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage audits, NCRs, corrective actions, and quality reporting.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and delivery teams.
