About This Role
Job Purpose
To ensure full compliance with UAE food safety regulations, Dubai Municipality standards, product quality standards, and internal hygiene policies by implementing, monitoring, and enforcing food safety, sanitation, and HACCP procedures across all food operations.
Food Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality, HACCP, and UAE food safety regulations.
- Conduct regular hygiene inspections and audits of food preparation, receiving, and storage areas.
- Monitor food handling, cooking, cooling, and storage procedures.
- Ensure accurate documentation and maintenance of food safety records.
Training & Awareness
- Conduct food safety and hygiene training for food handlers.
- Promote a strong food safety culture across all departments.
- Train new employees on food safety policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Monitoring & Reporting
- Inspect all processing and on-processing areas, and each operational process (raw materials, packaging materials, receiving to finished goods dispatch).
- Prepare inspection reports and corrective action plans.
- Investigate food safety and quality complaints, incidents, or contamination risks.
- Ensure corrective actions are implemented and followed up.
Supplier & Storage Control
- Ensure raw material receiving procedures meet food safety standards.
- Monitor cold chain management and storage temperatures.
- Verify labelling, shelf life, and FIFO compliance.
Qualifications & Skills
- Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within hospitality or F&B.
- Strong knowledge of the UAE Food Code and Dubai Municipality regulations.
- Excellent communication, reporting, and organizational skills.
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability.
Physical & Work Requirements
- Ability to conduct daily site inspections and stand for long periods.
- Flexible to work across different locations and shifts if required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
