The Role
We are looking for a highly technical
Senior QA Automation Engineer
to lead and scale automated quality assurance across our mobile apps, backend services, APIs, and real-time systems.
You will design scalable test frameworks and ensure the bulletproof reliability of critical financial systems.
What You’ll Do
- **Build Test Infrastructure:**
- Design and maintain scalable automated testing frameworks across mobile, backend, and API systems using TypeScript, Jest, and PactumJS.
- **Mobile & API Automation:**
- Build end-to-end mobile automation using Maestro or Detox.
- Implement API contract testing for REST, GraphQL, and WebSockets.
- **Infrastructure Testing:**
- Validate AWS serverless architectures (Lambda, DynamoDB, EventBridge) and asynchronous, event-driven payment workflows.
- **Embrace AI-Native QA:**
- Utilize tools like Claude, Cursor, and MCP integrations to accelerate testing, debugging, and test coverage generation.
What We’re Looking For
- **7+ years**
- of professional QA engineering experience with a heavy focus on automation.
- **Deep expertise**
- in JavaScript/TypeScript-based testing environments (Jest, PactumJS, or similar).
- **Hands-on experience**
- testing distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and mobile applications simultaneously.
- **Systems Thinker:**
- High ownership, comfortable with autonomy, and excited by AI-assisted software development workflows.
Preferred
- Experience with
Maestro
- mobile testing framework.
- Background in fintech, digital wallets, payment infrastructure, or stablecoins/crypto.
- Experience with AWS serverless stacks.
