Role Overview

• The Senior Python Developer will be responsible for building backend services, automation platforms, testing frameworks, and IoT-connected solutions. This person should be able to communicate with mobile applications, hardware devices, IoT environments, APIs, sensors, gateways, and cloud systems.
• This is not a routine coding role. We are looking for someone who can think like a product engineer, automation architect, and technical problem solver.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend systems using
• Python and Flask

• Build scalable REST APIs and backend services for mobile apps, IoT platforms, and automation systems.
• Design and implement automation workflows, automation scripts, and internal tools.
• Build and maintain
• automation testing frameworks
• for backend, mobile, IoT, and integration workflows.
• Work with testing tools, test automation pipelines, CI/CD workflows, and quality assurance systems.
• Integrate with mobile environments, including APIs, push notifications, device communication, and app-to-backend workflows.
• Communicate with IoT environments, including devices, sensors, gateways, MQTT brokers, HTTP APIs, WebSockets, and cloud IoT platforms.
• Analyze business and technical problems, then propose smart, practical, and scalable solutions.
• Work with hardware, firmware, mobile, and backend teams to deliver complete end-to-end solutions.
• Debug complex issues across backend, mobile, automation, and IoT layers.
• Improve system reliability, performance, observability, and security.
• Own technical delivery from concept to production.

Required Experience

• 5+ years of professional Python development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with

• Solid experience in

• Experience with API testing, integration testing, backend testing, and test automation pipelines.
• Experience working with IoT systems, device communication, and connected environments.
• Good understanding of mobile app backend communication and mobile API requirements.
• Experience with protocols such as

MQTT, HTTP, WebSockets, REST, TCP/IP

• , or similar.
• Strong database experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, or similar.
• Experience with Linux, Docker, Git, CI/CD, and cloud deployment environments.
• Strong debugging, system analysis, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical decisions.
• Nice to Have
• Experience with Selenium, Playwright, Pytest, Robot Framework, or similar automation tools.
• Experience with Raspberry Pi, Arduino, ESP32, industrial sensors, gateways, or edge devices.
• Experience with Celery, Redis queues, background jobs, cron jobs, or event-driven architecture.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, or cloud IoT services.
• Experience with FastAPI is a plus.
• Experience designing automation platforms from scratch.
