Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or management from an accredited university.
- At least 15 years of engineering and/or project management experience, including work as a risk manager on large-scale projects.
- Experience identifying problems, assessing alternatives, and determining solutions.
- Reliability and initiative to deliver successfully without immediate supervision.
- Proven commercial risk management practice and procedures; relevant cluster context is preferred.
- Proven risk quantification experience covering cost, schedule, quality, and safety.
- Proven experience maintaining risk management databases, such as ARM, and using corporate risk management procedures.
- International work experience; KSA experience is preferred.
Relevant background
- Strong pre-construction background, including contract management, procurement, tendering, estimating, and cost.
- Working knowledge of schedule management and project phases from pre-design and design development through construction and closeout.
Responsibilities
- Manage project planning, development, and implementation across a range of projects.
- Facilitate meetings with clients, consultants, contractors, and management teams to assess project lifecycle risks.
- Prepare and implement construction risk plans covering risk identification, evaluation, and mitigation.
- Predict potential financial liability for the Division from data provided by collieries, relevant authorities, and the Division.
- Handle costs, cost- and time-related claims, change orders, and conflict resolution.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and scope, and to quality standards using established methodology.
- Follow Hill International's quality, environmental, safety, and occupational health policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties assigned by the line manager or supervisor.
