Role overview

The Senior Project Manager leads end-to-end Salesforce project delivery, ensuring projects meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations while maintaining client relationships.

Job expectations and responsibilities

  • Manage Salesforce projects from initiation through delivery and closure; maintain plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, and commitments.
  • Coordinate clients, Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, Developers, QA, and other stakeholders; lead governance meetings and client communications.
  • Manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests; track progress and drive corrective actions.
  • Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement; coordinate distributed teams.
  • Monitor resource needs, utilization, capacity, and priorities; ensure deliverables meet quality, timeline, and acceptance criteria.
  • Manage escalations and delivery issues; prepare status reports, dashboards, RAID logs, and governance documentation.
  • Support estimation, proposals, RFP/RFI responses, and planning for new Salesforce opportunities; drive continuous improvement and cross-functional communication.

Eligibility and required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or equivalent.
  • 8–12+ years of IT project management experience, with significant Salesforce project management experience.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce implementations and the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Experience managing Agile/Scrum projects and distributed teams.
  • Strong client, stakeholder, risk, and project governance management experience.
  • Experience with project planning, estimation, budgeting, resource management, and delivery tracking.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, Salesforce, or Agile/Scrum certifications are preferred.
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, problem-solving, ownership, and accountability; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment.
