Role overview
Lead a major enterprise retail technology program in Melbourne as Senior Project Manager / Delivery Lead.
Own delivery of a next-generation Point of Sale and unified commerce platform from discovery and solution definition through build, pilot, and implementation.
Act as the key link between the customer, technology delivery teams, and third-party partners.
Responsibilities
- Own delivery across scope, schedule, budget, quality, and resourcing.
- Establish and manage governance, steering committees, reporting, RAID, and change control.
- Coordinate discovery, requirements, and solution design workshops; manage senior customer stakeholders and executive communications.
- Build integrated delivery plans, milestones, and dependencies; coordinate internal technical teams, vendors, and implementation partners.
- Manage project financials, SOW deliverables, commercial change requests, risks, issues, and escalation pathways.
- Lead solution definition, build, configuration, UAT, and pilot deployment, then coordinate transition to ongoing support.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience delivering large-scale enterprise technology programs.
- Strong end-to-end project or program delivery experience, including customer-facing professional services or complex technology implementations.
- Strong governance, RAID, executive reporting, stakeholder management, and communication capability.
- Commercial experience managing budgets, SOWs, and change requests.
- Experience coordinating third-party vendors and multidisciplinary technology teams.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent experience or certification.
Preferred experience
- Experience delivering POS, store systems, unified commerce, or broader retail technology programs is highly regarded.
