Role overview

Project delivery

• Define project business cases, objectives, scope, resources, benefits and outcomes with key stakeholders.
• Create and maintain plans, work packages, risk mitigations and assigned responsibilities.
• Evaluate delivery options and performance, and adjust plans against scope, schedule, budget, risk and benefits.
• Forecast future change and business-as-usual resources and external costs; control cost variances or raise change control.
• Provide direction to teams and deliver outcomes within time, cost, quality, scope, benefit and risk tolerances.

Governance and stakeholder management

• Communicate project benefits with the Project Sponsor and report progress and business case viability to impacted stakeholders.
• Maintain governance standards, RACI and RAID logs, ServiceNow records, management information and required project documents and approvals.
• Identify, own and mitigate issues, risks and dependencies; escalate when appropriate and act as a sponsor escalation point.
• Complete handover to business-as-usual and benefits-realization activities.

Team and capability development

• Manage resource planning and motivate project teams, providing guidance, mentoring and coaching.
• Work with Technology, suppliers and other business functions to support timely delivery.
• Support resource interviews and hiring, conduct project management workshops and share project and change management practices across the firm.
• Run lessons-learned sessions, implement recommendations and share learning with the project management community.

• Own end-to-end delivery of medium to highly complex projects, including business case, objectives, scope, resources and expected outcomes.
• Apply project management methodologies, governance standards and project change requirements.
• Manage project plans, risks, dependencies, schedule, budget, quality and benefits within agreed tolerances.
• Manage and motivate project resources, providing guidance, mentoring or coaching to develop the team.
• Build effective working relationships with stakeholders, Technology, suppliers and other business functions.
