Responsibilities:

Our newest opportunity is for a highly experienced Senior Project Manager – Environment to join our award-winning sustainability and environmental team based in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

We are seeking a senior environmental professional to lead the delivery of complex, large-scale development projects across the Kingdom, including PIF giga projects and major infrastructure programmes. This role requires strong technical depth, leadership capability, and proven experience operating within the GCC and KSA regulatory and delivery environment.### We envisage success in this role to include:

• Lead and deliver Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIA/EIA) for large-scale infrastructure, industrial, and master planning projects
• Oversee construction environmental assurance, monitoring programmes, and compliance management across active project sites
• Manage engagement with regulatory authorities and key stakeholders, ensuring full compliance with KSA environmental requirements
• Lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate environmental inputs across engineering and design functions
• Review and interpret complex technical outputs and present clear, concise findings to clients and stakeholders
• Oversee environmental modelling and analysis, including air quality, noise & vibration, hydrology, ecology, and contamination assessments
• Contribute to proposals, tenders, and business development activities across the region
• Ensure delivery of projects within agreed scope, budget, and schedule, maintaining high technical standards
• Act as a senior client-facing representative in workshops, meetings, and presentations.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will typically bring:* 15+ years of total professional experience in environmental consulting or project delivery

• 10+ years of experience in similar senior environmental roles
• MSc in Environmental Management or a related discipline
• Professional certification such as CEnv, NEBOSH, PMP, or equivalent recognised body membership (Prefered)

We are looking for candidates with proven experience in:* Extensive experience across the GCC region, including Saudi Arabia

• Strong background in construction environmental assurance, monitoring, regulatory liaison, and stakeholder engagement
• Proven expertise in data analysis, environmental modelling, and technical reporting
• Demonstrated success leading large-scale, multidisciplinary development projects
• At least 12+ years GCC experience, including significant KSA-based project delivery
• Experience on PIF / giga projects in Saudi Arabia is highly desirable

• Air quality, noise, and vibration monitoring and modelling
• Hydrology and water resources assessment
• Ecology and biodiversity studies
• Land contamination and environmental risk assessment
