Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Senior Project Manager role based in Dubai.
The Senior Project Manager will lead end-to-end project delivery for complex MEP, technology, and general contracting projects, from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closeout.
Responsibilities include defining project scope, schedule, and budget; coordinating internal engineering, procurement, construction, and QA/QC teams; and managing subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
The role involves overseeing site activities, chairing progress and coordination meetings, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
The Senior Project Manager will also prepare and review project documentation and reports, maintain regular communication with clients and stakeholders, support claims and variation orders, and drive continuous improvement across projects.
Qualifications
- Strong project leadership skills in complex construction and MEP environments, including Project Management expertise for planning, execution, monitoring, and stakeholder communication.
- Expediting and Expeditor experience to track, follow up, and coordinate vendor and subcontractor deliverables, ensuring materials, equipment, and documentation are received on schedule.
- Inspection and quality oversight skills to review work, verify compliance with specifications, and coordinate with QA/QC and third-party inspectors.
- Logistics Management capabilities to plan and control material flow, site deliveries, storage, and resource allocation in alignment with project timelines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil) or a related field; advanced degree or PMP/Prince2 certification is an advantage.
- Proven experience managing large-scale MEP or mission-critical projects (e.g., data centers, healthcare, cleanrooms, or similar high-tech facilities).
- Proficiency in project management and planning tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and solid understanding of contracts, cost control, and change management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams
